Visual Basic Engine

Natively compiled Win32 binaries (.exe) designed in MS Visual Studio. Standard Windows Forms controls guarantee rapid UI drawing and rock-solid stability without heavy runtime frameworks.

MS STUDIO FORMS

MS Access Database

Utilizes the Microsoft Jet Database Engine. Relational tables are securely housed in a unified .mdb database file, eliminating the need for expensive dedicated database hosting.

JET ENGINE (.MDB)

LAN Shared Folder

Workstations connect to the database via standard Windows Local Area Networks. One peer computer hosts the .mdb in a shared directory, and client machines map the network path to access records.

UNC FILE-SHARE MODEL

Workgroup Security

Secured via standard Windows directory permissions and Jet Database Workgroup Information files (.mdw) to restrict access to company ledgers by role and department.
